Bio: Dean McCall is a catalyst in the South Texas technology community. He is a social butterfly that likes to connect, create and facilitate successful collaborative ventures. Dean is viewed by all as a technical evangelist for an organization's online presence.
Dean currently serves as an advisor to DFJ Mercury, a seed and early-stage venture capital fund, and as President and CEO of Podcast Ready, a DFJ Mercury portfolio company. Dean is also acting CEO of Ideagin, a web development and Interaction shop in San Antonio, Texas. Dean currently serves as either a board member or advisor to the Rice University Entrepreneurial Alliance, Armida Technology, Blog Catalog, UTSA Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Knowbility, SXSW, the Digital Convergence Initiative (DCI), and FootballersFC.
In 2006, Dean was recognized by the San Antonio Business Journal as one of the 40 most influential people under 40 years old.
