Bio: April joined Sweet Leaf Tea in October 2008 to put her 15 years of customer service experience and out-going personality to work. She currently manages Sweet Leaf Tea's consumer services and online communities with an eager ear, open-mind and sense of humor.
April got her start in the natural foods world working for Whole Foods Market, and realized that she had a passion for both food and world-class customer service. When she left Whole Foods, the only thing she was sure of was that she wanted to stay close to the consumer and natural foods. April found out she could have her cake (all-natural, of course!) and eat it too when she joined the team at Sweet Leaf Tea.
The Austin based bottled iced tea company needed someone to take the consumer services ball and run with it, communicating with consumers over the phone, through email and through social media, and April was chosen for the challenge! Today she handles the company's consumer services and engages with fans on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, and the blogosphere with gusto and panache.
